Small batches are created daily so that we may offer our customers the best, full-flavored custom coffee blends possible, and at very affordable prices.
Our Master Roaster, Braulio Rosas, has been roasting and blending fine gourmet coffees for over 10 years, and for some very prestigious companies. Popular hot spots include The Cheesecake Factory, Morton's of Chicago, and the Four Seasons Hotel, just to mention a few. Braulio has an immense talent for roasting some of the finest coffee you will ever savor. He is especially known for his fine espresso roasts, which are second to none.
Keeping With Tradition:
In today's modern society, with every so processed and prefab, we feel creating gourmet coffee is still best left to tradition and best left to the artisan. Today's master coffee roasters continue to carry on the century old tradition of small-batch roasting, toiling over the flames of small-batch roasting equipment, not wanting to leave fine coffee roasting in the hands of big business! Super-sized, impersonal factories using inferior coffee beans and equipment just isn't good enough for today's particular palates!
Only after the highest quality coffee beans have been properly roasted do they release their rich full-bodied aroma and flavor. Furthermore, coffee roast colors and shades vary according to each particular blend created. As a result, master roaster’s must decide how long to roast a particular blend, in order to achieve the exact color, shade and flavor desired. Traditional roasters obtain coffee perfection through years of experience. This is artistry in motion, and is no easy task for just anyone!
